NEW BOURBON RECORDS
Personal label of female impersonator Ray Bourbon. Successor to Western Records Bourbana, made in Hollywood, black label with silver print, numbers 101-3, 201 and unnumbered discs reported. The post-war New Bourbon Records were produced by Syd Heller, owner of the Columbia Music Store at 158 Taylor St., San Francisco. Heller was also involved with the Stag label. BBB in runout indicates a connection with Bee Bee Bee Records, 1538 Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood CA. Output is contemporary with Bourbon’s work on IMPERIAL.
