PRIVATE COLLECTION OF NAN BLAKSTONE
This was a joint venture by Nan Blakstone and her husband Ronald Gerard with Billboard stringer Haviland Reves named Hush-Hush Distributors, 2211 Woodward St., Detroit, MI. in 1948. Moved to Haviland-Gerard Inc., 1009 Fox Theater Bldg. in 1949. This was an ill-timed and under-capitalized venture by novices with no first-hand knowledge of the record business. Sales were very poor in comparison with other Blakstone releases. Material was leased to Jubilee in 1950. Black label with silver print. One unnumbered album with numbers 070-072 reported.
